HR Gen (Part-Time)
Temporary Part-Time HR Generalist responsible for onboarding, employee relations, HR compliance, leave management, HRIS administration, Workday transactions, reporting, and employee recordkeeping.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of Human Resources experience in a generalist capacity
- Experience with employee onboarding
- Experience with employee relations
- Experience with HR compliance
- Experience with leave management
- Experience with HRIS administration
- Experience maintaining employee records
- Knowledge of employment laws and compliance requirements
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience processing employee status changes, personnel actions, and separations
- Experience responding to employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures
- Experience preparing HR reports, metrics, and documentation
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Part-time availability
Preferred Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Workday experience
- Experience with Workday employee data management
- Experience with Workday reporting
- Experience with Workday onboarding support
- Experience with Workday organizational maintenance
- PHR, SHRM-CP, or similar certification
- Experience supporting HR audits
- Experience supporting performance management, training, or employee engagement initiatives
Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day Human Resources operations
- Coordinate new hire onboarding and employee documentation
- Process employee status changes, personnel actions, and separations
- Maintain employee records and HRIS data
- Use Workday for employee transactions, reporting, onboarding support, and HR processes
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures
- Support employee relations matters
- Conduct HR investigations as needed
- Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Maintain compliance with HR policies and procedures
- Prepare HR reports, metrics, and documentation
- Support leave management activities
- Assist with HR audits and special projects
- Support performance management, training, and employee engagement initiatives
- Partner with leadership to address employee concerns and workforce needs
Pay Details: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
