Maintenance Tech Level II
Maintenance Technician II responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and maintaining production equipment and facility systems in a heavy manufacturing environment.
Requirements
- 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience troubleshooting industrial production equipment
- Working knowledge of industrial electrical systems up to 480V
- Experience with hydraulic systems
- Experience with pneumatic systems
- Experience with conveyors
- Experience with motors and motor controls
- Experience with mechanical equipment repair
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Ability to read and interpret layout plans
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals
- Experience following written and verbal instructions
- Availability for overtime as needed
- Availability to stay late to complete repairs and support production demands
- Availability for weekend work when required
- Ability to participate in on-call rotation and respond to maintenance emergencies
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work in various positions throughout the shift
- Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces when required
- Ability to work in a heavy industrial environment with exposure to heat, dust, fumes, noise, industrial chemicals, and extreme temperatures
- Ability to wear required PPE, including respirators, SCBAs, gloves, and protective clothing
- Ability to climb ladders, equipment, and rooftops when necessary

Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial production equipment
- Maintain furnaces, molding equipment, grinders, conveyors, compressors, dust collection systems, pumps, and related manufacturing equipment
- Diagnose and repair mechanical systems
- Diagnose and repair electrical systems up to 480V
- Diagnose and repair hydraulic systems
- Diagnose and repair pneumatic systems
- Diagnose and repair motor controls
- Perform scheduled preventive and predictive maintenance activities
- Identify potential equipment failures before breakdowns occur
- Support equipment reliability and downtime reduction efforts
- Troubleshoot motors, drives, sensors, relays, contactors, and industrial electrical components
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, technical manuals, and equipment documentation
- Install, modify, and upgrade machinery and equipment
- Perform welding, fabrication, and machine repair work as needed
- Support equipment installations and maintenance projects
- Assist with HVAC, plumbing, compressed air systems, building infrastructure, and facility repairs
- Coordinate with production teams to reduce downtime
- Work with outside contractors during maintenance projects
- Maintain work orders, maintenance records, and inventory usage in the CMMS system
- Train and mentor less experienced maintenance technicians when needed
- Maintain work area organization
- Follow safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space Entry, machine guarding, and PPE requirements
- Maintain compliance with safety standards and regulations
Pay Details: $35.00 to $45.00 per hour
