Quality Inspector (2nd shift)
Quality inspection role responsible for daily inspections, nonconforming material review, dimensional verification, inspection equipment operation, quality records, calibration support, and product release activities.
Job Requirements
High school diploma or GED
Quality inspector experience
Medical device inspection experience preferred
Experience using specialized inspection and test equipment to qualify or verify product
Experience setting up parts on inspection equipment for measurement
Experience running established measurement programs
Experience identifying pass/fail results from inspection reports
Experience completing quality records accurately and legibly
Experience updating databases, logs, and reports
Ability to read and comprehend written work instructions
Ability to understand verbal instructions
Basic computer skills for daily data entry
Experience with Microsoft Office programs
Familiarity with ISO 13485 standards and CFR 820 regulations
General understanding of Statistical Process Control principles
Ability to read and interpret prints and customer requirements
Proficiency with standard dimensional gages, including calipers, micrometers, drop indicators, and comparators
Preferred Skills
CMM experience
Experience with vision systems
Experience with Keyence Optical Measurement Systems
Experience with Micro-Vu Video Measuring Machines
Experience with optical comparators, including standard and eCAD systems
Experience with pull-force testers
Experience with hardness testers
Experience setting up, running programs, and identifying pass/fail results on vision systems, CMMs, and optical comparators
Experience performing First Article Inspection
Experience performing in-house gage calibrations
Experience supporting validation activities through measurement and documentation
Job Responsibilities
Perform daily quality inspections
Communicate inspection findings to Quality and area management
Assess nonconforming product and process issues
Identify corrective and preventive action needs
Update quality databases, logs, and reports
Use specialized inspection and test equipment to qualify and verify product
Set up parts on inspection equipment for measurement
Run established measurement programs
Review generated reports to identify pass/fail results
Complete quality records accurately and legibly
File quality records according to procedure
Coordinate Material Review Board activities
Identify and immediately segregate nonconforming material
Tag nonconforming material appropriately
Log nonconforming material information
Provide input on nonconforming material disposition
Evaluate nonconforming material condition
Identify corrective and preventive action opportunities
Perform follow-up and effectiveness checks with Quality Engineering guidance
Complete final product release activities
Enter data to support quality and performance trend monitoring
Review documentation and verify dimensions on received materials
Complete First Article Inspection using Quality Engineering documentation and guidance
Perform in-house gage calibrations according to work instructions
Provide measurement and documentation support for validation activities
Verify product visually and dimensionally through in-process inspections
Pay: 25-27/hr

Pay Details: $25.00 to $27.00 per hour
