Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering

  • 10+ years of design experience in manufacturing or heavy industry

  • Project management experience

  • Expert-level mathematical skills

  • Experience using computer-aided design systems

  • Advanced knowledge of Infor XA

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office experience

  • Experience supporting engineering-related production issues

  • Experience managing engineering change projects

Preferred Skills

  • Licensed Professional Engineer

  • Experience with new product development

  • Experience with engineering change request processes

  • Experience with legacy, inactive, or obsolete component support

  • Experience with engineering standards development

  • Experience with CE compliance, European Union safety standards, or Australian standards

  • Experience supporting cross-functional manufacturing, purchasing, product support, and parts teams

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide engineering expertise, technical support, and technical leadership across the organization

  • Ensure engineering results meet business requirements for quality, functionality, performance, and delivery

  • Provide technical assistance and guidance to manufacturing, purchasing, product support, and other departments

  • Support resolution of engineering-related production issues

  • Advise product support and customer representatives on product variations and customer needs

  • Assist parts department with legacy, inactive, and obsolete components

  • Identify alternative components when possible

  • Manage new product and engineering change projects from initiation through completion

  • Evaluate design variations, including schedule, cost, and scope impacts

  • Review and process change requests from internal departments

  • Maintain project schedules, time estimates, and cost tracking

  • Manage engineering change database activities, including assignment, review, approval, and closure of projects

  • Work with purchasing on component specifications, cost, and availability

  • Review implementation status reports

  • Release items to manufacturing when appropriate

  • Enforce engineering standards and guidelines

  • Participate in development and updates to engineering standards

  • Ensure project changes align with established engineering standards

  • Identify applicable industry standards for manufactured products

  • Support compliance with applicable safety regulations and international standards

  • Participate in meetings for new product proposals and engineering initiatives

  • Provide feedback for engineering performance review processes

  • Perform special projects and technical investigations as assigned

Pay: 90k-175k/year

Pay Details: $90,000.00 to $175,000.00 per year
