Welders

MIG Welder responsible for welding, fitting, measuring, and inspecting playground components in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.

Job Requirements

• Previous MIG welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment

• Experience welding galvanized steel or pipes

• Experience using free-hand fitting techniques

• Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, drawings, and work instructions

• Ability to read and use a tape measure

• Ability to pass a tape measure test

• Ability to work in a non-air-conditioned manufacturing facility

Preferred Skills

• Experience welding playground components

• Experience inspecting completed welds

• Experience checking parts for dimensional accuracy

• Experience working with fabricated steel components

• Experience following production drawings and work instructions

Job Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on playground components according to drawings, blueprints, and work instructions

• Weld galvanized steel components and pipes

• Use free-hand fitting techniques during fabrication

• Measure parts and components using a tape measure

• Inspect completed welds for quality

• Inspect fabricated parts for dimensional accuracy

• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and work instructions

• Follow manufacturing and fabrication specifications during welding and assembly

Pay: 25-30/hr

Pay Details: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
