Operate, adjust, inspect, and maintain Swiss-style CNC machines for precision component production.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Technical training preferred
  • 2+ years of experience operating Swiss CNC machines
  • Strong understanding of G-code and CNC controls
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Ability to understand GD&T
  • Experience working with tight tolerances
  • Experience using precision measuring tools, including micrometers, calipers, and gauges
  • Familiarity with various materials, including stainless steel, aluminum, and plastics
  • Strong math skills

Preferred Skills

  • Experience helping set up Swiss-style CNC machines
  • Experience performing tool changes
  • Experience adjusting offsets
  • Experience making minor CNC program edits
  • Experience troubleshooting machining issues
  • Experience documenting production and quality results
  • Experience performing routine machine maintenance

Job Responsibilities

  • Help set up and operate Swiss-style CNC machines
  • Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job travelers
  • Perform tool changes, offsets, and minor program edits
  • Monitor machine operations to ensure parts meet specifications
  • Inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools
  • Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary adjustments
  • Maintain production efficiency and minimize scrap
  • Perform routine machine maintenance
  • Keep work area clean
  • Document production and quality results


Pay Details: $20.00 to $30.00 per hour
