Set up, operate, troubleshoot, and inspect Swiss-style CNC machining operations for precision component production.

Job Requirements

  • Experience setting up and operating CNC machines
  • Strong understanding of G-code and CNC programming edits
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Ability to understand GD&T
  • Experience working with tight tolerances
  • Proficiency with precision measuring instruments, including micrometers and calipers
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Familiarity with ISO requirements
  • Knowledge of safety and quality standards

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in CNC Swiss machining
  • Experience installing tooling and adjusting offsets
  • First-piece inspection experience
  • Experience optimizing CNC programs and machining processes
  • Experience troubleshooting Swiss CNC machine issues
  • Experience maintaining setup and production documentation

Job Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate Swiss CNC machines
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T requirements
  • Install tooling and adjust machine offsets
  • Perform first-piece inspections
  • Optimize programs and processes for production efficiency and quality
  • Troubleshoot machine issues and make necessary adjustments
  • Perform in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools
  • Maintain documentation for setups and production runs
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and ISO requirements
  • Work with engineering and quality teams to resolve production issues


Pay Details: $20.00 to $30.00 per hour
