Machine Operator
Manufacturing Associate / Material Handler needed to support paint manufacturing operations, material handling, machine operation, weighing, batching, quality checks, and production support.
Job Requirements
Experience with machines, weighing, batching, or manufacturing processes
Experience working on a manufacturing floor
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to complete repetitive strenuous work under varying climate conditions
Ability to work in a plant environment with varying temperature and physical requirements
Ability to work in confined spaces after required training
Ability to stand, walk, sit, reach, climb, stoop, and kneel
20/20 vision or corrected 20/20 vision required
Basic math skills
Ability to read and follow bills of materials
Ability to verify labels against products
Ability to follow posted facility signage
Ability to follow safety, quality, security, and operations policies
Ability to demonstrate understanding of safety rules and regulations through written or verbal examination after training
Understanding of lock-out/tag-out procedures
Understanding of hazard communication policies
Familiarity with standard operating procedures and equipment operator manuals
English-speaking ability required
Bilingual English/Spanish ability preferred

Forklift experience
High reach forklift experience
Experience using handheld scanning devices
Experience reading and working with SOPs
Experience working with chemicals or light chemical manufacturing
Experience with paint manufacturing or related production environments
Experience moving machine parts
Experience performing quality checks during production
Experience with BOM accuracy and material verification
Experience scanning product from receiving, rack locations, put-away locations, and WIP locations
Experience pushing product to mezzanine or batching areas
Experience cleaning tanks or mix tanks after confined space training
Experience using shovels, air tools, or related equipment for tank cleaning
Job Responsibilities
Follow standard operating procedures, policies, and safety regulations
Use required PPE for each assigned task
Maintain PPE in safe and usable condition
Operate production equipment as instructed or trained
Monitor product quality throughout the production process
Report potential out-of-compliance issues to supervisors
Perform startup and shutdown activities as directed
Support cross-training across plant line positions
Maintain accurate counts of products produced or used
Document production activity as required
Keep production lines organized, clean, and free of hazards
Grease, adjust, or clean specific production line parts as part of autonomous maintenance
Perform general labor duties as needed to meet production requirements
Train laborers and new manufacturing associates as assigned
Attend safety meetings and conduct safety audits
Verify labels against products
Scan materials from receiving dock to put-away locations
Use pick lists to locate and move materials
Scan product from rack locations to WIP locations
Move product to mezzanine batching areas
Operate forklifts safely in production or warehouse environments
Clean mix tanks on a rotating schedule after confined space training
Use shovels, air tools, or other equipment for tank cleaning within confined spaces as assigned
Pay: 18-20/hr

Pay Details: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
