Welder
Welder needed to weld components in multiple positions using MIG, TIG, spot welding, and robotic welding equipment.
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of welding experience
- MIG and TIG welding experience
- Spot welding experience
- Robotic welding setup or programming experience
- Ability to read and interpret prints
- Ability to read job cards
- Basic shop math skills
- Ability to perform metric and inch conversions
- Ability to use calipers, protractors, and scales
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Preferred Skills
- Experience welding in multiple positions
- Experience adjusting gas, heat, and filler metal for proper weld penetration
- Experience selecting electrodes, fixtures, and spot welder settings
- Experience submitting first articles for inspection
- Experience verifying robotic weld positions and sequences
Job Responsibilities
- Perform MIG and TIG welding in multiple positions
- Adjust gas, heat, and filler metal to achieve proper penetration
- Operate spot welding equipment
- Select electrodes, fixtures, and relevant welding settings
- Program and set up robotic welding equipment
- Step through robotic welding sequences
- Verify weld positions and robotic program accuracy
- Submit first articles to inspection
- Read and interpret job cards and prints
Pay Details: $18.00 to $21.00 per hour
