Perform inbound, order picking, outbound, inventory, and equipment operations in an industrial warehouse environment using material handling equipment.

Job Requirements

  • Forklift or order picker experience

  • High school diploma or GED preferred

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 75 pounds with or without assistance

  • Ability to stand and walk for the majority of the workday

  • Ability to bend, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, reach above shoulder height, crouch, kneel, balance, and push or pull throughout the shift

  • Ability to use both hands for repetitive grasping and manipulating tasks

  • Ability to use both feet for repetitive movement and foot control operation

  • Close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus

  • Familiarity with warehouse systems

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret SOPs, shipping documents, and regulations

  • Ability to write reports and business correspondence

  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division

  • Ability to work with American money, weight, volume, and distance measurements

  • Ability to type and operate a computer

  • Ability to use Microsoft Office and company software

  • Ability to organize and prioritize work

  • Ability to work in an industrial warehouse environment with noise, heights, moving machinery, temperature changes, dust, fumes, or gases

Preferred Skills

  • OSHA Forklift certification

  • HAZMAT certification

  • Understanding of metric system measurements

  • Experience operating forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment

  • Experience with cycle counts and physical inventory

  • Experience with stock rotation and inventory adjustments

Job Responsibilities

  • Unload trucks, trailers, and containers of freight

  • Count products and compare shipments to manifests

  • Inspect inbound shipments for damage, infestation, shortages, mis-shipments, and production code dates

  • Complete forms related to shortages, damages, and shipping discrepancies

  • Sign for inbound shipments when required

  • Move inbound shipments safely to storage locations

  • Pick correct product numbers, quantities, and product types including lot, batch, and serial numbers

  • Transport orders to shipping locations or delivery platforms using material handling equipment

  • Label, stencil, tag, mark, band, bundle, wrap, over-pack, and palletize orders as required

  • Verify outbound quantities, labeling, and addresses to ensure shipments are complete and correct

  • Sign outbound shipments when necessary

  • Load products, cartons, and pallets into trailers, rail cars, or containers

  • Maintain equipment in clean and orderly condition

  • Operate equipment safely and in compliance with OSHA requirements

  • Keep accurate records and reports

  • Assist with physical inventories and cycle counts

  • Ensure proper stock rotation and enter inventory adjustments into the computer as needed

  • Repack or re-box cases per customer instructions

  • Repair and consolidate damaged goods

  • Operate shrink-wrap equipment

  • Charge forklift batteries as needed

  • Separate usable and damaged pallets

  • Clean railcars, trailers, truck docks, and bays

  • Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned

Pay: 15-21/hr

Pay Details: $15.00 to $21.40 per hour
