Machine Maintenance Technician
Industrial Maintenance Mechanic responsible for troubleshooting, rebuilding, repairing, aligning, and maintaining complex machinery, machine tools, and electrical systems.
Job Requirements

Experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery, machine tools, and mechanical equipment
-
Experience dismantling, rebuilding, and overhauling complex machines
-
Ability to align and fit mechanical components to close tolerances
-
Experience operating machine tools including grinders, lathes, planers, shapers, and drill presses
-
Experience using precision measuring instruments
-
Experience using hoists, cranes, jacks, rollers, block and tackle, and other maintenance equipment
-
Ability to read and interpret mechanical prints, sketches, and manufacturer instructions
-
Ability to machine new or replacement parts to close tolerances
-
Experience fitting and aligning gears, shafts, wheels, pulleys, and motors
-
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and ladder logic
-
Experience troubleshooting 240V and 480V electrical systems
-
Experience tracing electrical circuits and isolating fault locations
Preferred Skills

Experience rebuilding equipment to original machine tolerances

Experience scraping and fitting components to extremely close tolerances

Experience performing machine condition inspections

Experience producing repair recommendations and identifying future maintenance requirements

Experience machining replacement components for industrial equipment
Job Responsibilities
-
Analyze machine failures and determine required repairs
-
Dismantle, adjust, repair, and overhaul machinery and mechanical equipment
-
Rebuild machines and machine tools to specified tolerances
-
Manufacture new or replacement parts as required
-
Inspect machinery and equipment and document condition and repair requirements
-
Identify major repairs and replacement parts needed for future maintenance
-
Plan repair work sequences and obtain required tools and equipment
-
Perform machining operations using lathes, grinders, drill presses, and other machine tools
-
Reassemble and realign equipment to required tolerances
-
Adjust equipment clearances and mechanical alignments
-
Fit and align gears, shafts, wheels, motors, and pulleys
-
Perform equipment inspections, adjustments, and repairs in place
-
Troubleshoot electrical circuits using schematics, wiring diagrams, and ladder logic
-
Diagnose faults in 240V and 480V electrical systems
-
Lubricate repaired and rebuilt equipment
-
Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas
Pay Details: $30.00 to $38.00 per hour
