Experimental Manufacturing Support Specialist responsible for manufacturing routings, fabrication programs, inventory coordination, production reporting, and troubleshooting part and process issues.

Job Requirements

  • Experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

  • Knowledge of inventory management practices.

  • Experience creating, editing, or maintaining manufacturing routings.

  • Experience generating or supporting fabrication programs.

  • Experience reviewing manufactured part prints and technical documentation.

  • Experience monitoring production inventory and material needs.

  • Experience maintaining inventory and stock transfer records.

  • Experience troubleshooting manufacturing routings, part requests, or fabrication programs.

  • Computer proficiency with manufacturing and business systems.

Preferred Skills

  • Ability to read and interpret 2D drawings and prints.

  • Manufacturing environment experience.

  • Experience with CREO.

  • Experience with AutoCAD.

  • Experience with SAP.

  • Experience with Power BI.

  • Experience with Lantek or similar sheet metal software.

  • Knowledge of sheet metal and other fabrication processes.

  • Mechanical aptitude.

  • Associate degree in Pre-Engineering, Manufacturing/Engineering Technology, Computer-Aided Drafting, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Job Responsibilities

  • Create and edit manufacturing routings for experimental builds.

  • Generate programs for fabrication operations.

  • Review manufactured part prints.

  • Monitor production inventory and forecast future material needs.

  • Transfer stock between departments and maintain inventory records.

  • Coordinate material transfers between internal departments.

  • Coordinate with Supply Management regarding purchased parts and stock availability.

  • Prepare and update daily and weekly production reports using Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

  • Design and model simple parts for shop use as needed.

  • Troubleshoot part requests from engineering teams.

  • Diagnose and resolve issues with laser programs.

  • Diagnose and resolve manufacturing routing issues.

  • Support material flow and production readiness for experimental manufacturing activities.



Pay Details: $21.00 to $22.00 per hour
