Team Lead / Production Supervisor – 3rd Shift
Manufacturing Production Supervisor responsible for overseeing production performance, staffing, safety, quality, continuous improvement, and daily shop floor operations in a union manufacturing environment.
Job Requirements

2+ years of experience in a unionized manufacturing environment.

1+ years of experience with manufacturing and quality management principles, tools, and processes.

Experience managing production staffing and employee movement to support daily production requirements.
-
Experience enforcing company policies, procedures, work rules, and disciplinary processes.
-
Experience coordinating with functions such as Supply Management, Engineering, Operations, Human Resources, or Labor Relations.

Ability to work overtime, including weekdays and weekends, as required to support production and delivery requirements.

Experience supporting safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency metrics in a manufacturing environment.
Preferred Skills
-
1+ years of experience with production control systems.

1+ years of leadership experience in a union manufacturing environment.

2+ years of experience with shop floor manufacturing and incentive pay systems.
-
Cross-functional experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Material Control, or Supply Management.

Experience applying lean manufacturing techniques.
-
Knowledge of 5S and continuous improvement methodologies.

Experience with Safety and Ergonomic Risk Assessment processes.
-
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, SAP, SharePoint, and Power BI.
Job Responsibilities
-
Manage and monitor department performance related to safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency.

Implement corrective actions and disciplinary measures when required.

Ensure production personnel receive required training, work instructions, and tooling.

Lead safety activities, including safety communications, continuous improvement participation, ergonomic risk assessments, and near-miss reporting.

Implement corrective actions for identified safety issues.

Manage daily staffing assignments and employee movement across production lines.

Oversee production and warehousing activities to meet daily operational requirements.

Monitor manufacturing activities to ensure products meet established quality standards.

Support department implementation of 5S and continuous improvement initiatives.

Manage manpower planning and department operating budgets.

Support production control and manufacturing performance systems.

Coordinate with engineering, quality, supply management, material control, and labor relations functions.
Pay Details: $34.00 to $38.00 per hour
