Experimental Parts Coordinator

Manufacturing Operations Support Specialist responsible for creating experimental manufacturing routings, managing production inventory, supporting fabrication programming, and resolving part and process issues.

Job Requirements

• Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Experience using Excel for reporting, tracking, and data analysis.

• Knowledge of inventory management practices.

• Experience creating or maintaining manufacturing routings.

• Experience supporting manufacturing or production operations.

• Experience troubleshooting manufacturing part requests, routings, or fabrication programs.

• Experience working with computer-based manufacturing systems.

• Experience maintaining material transfer and inventory records.

• Experience coordinating purchased parts and stock availability.

• Experience reviewing manufacturing data and production requirements.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to read and interpret 2D engineering drawings and part prints.

• Experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Experience with CREO.

• Experience with AutoCAD.

• Experience with SAP.

• Experience with Power BI.

• Experience with Lantek or similar sheet metal programming software.

• Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and related manufacturing processes.

• Mechanical or manufacturing technical background.

• Experience designing or modeling simple shop-use parts.

• 2-year degree in Pre-Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, Engineering Technology, Computer-Aided Drafting, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Job Responsibilities

• Create and edit manufacturing routings for experimental builds.

• Generate programs for fabrication operations.

• Review manufactured part prints and engineering documentation.

• Monitor production inventory and forecast future material requirements.

• Transfer stock between departments and maintain inventory records.

• Process and document internal material transfers.

• Coordinate purchased-part requirements and stock availability with supply management functions.

• Prepare and update daily and weekly manufacturing reports.

• Use Excel and other Microsoft Office applications to track production, inventory, and operational data.

• Design and model simple parts for shop-use applications when required.

• Troubleshoot part requests generated by engineering teams.

• Diagnose and resolve issues with laser programs.

• Diagnose and correct issues with manufacturing routings.

• Maintain manufacturing and inventory data in SAP or related systems.

• Support fabrication activities using Lantek or similar manufacturing software.

Pay Details: $20.00 to $27.00 per hour
