Maintenance Planner
Maintenance Planner responsible for planning, scheduling, coordinating, and supporting preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities for manufacturing equipment, facilities, and infrastructure.
Job Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in maintenance planning, maintenance operations, manufacturing, industrial maintenance, or a related field.
- Experience with maintenance management systems.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and/or automated manufacturing systems.
- Understanding of maintenance planning and scheduling principles.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance strategies and equipment reliability concepts.
- Knowledge of manufacturing operations and facility systems.
- Experience supporting industrial equipment, facility systems, or manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of applicable OSHA, ANSI, safety, and environmental requirements.
Preferred Skills
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Maintenance Management, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field.
- SAP maintenance management experience.
- Experience supporting preventive maintenance programs.
- Experience with spare parts and maintenance inventory management.
- Experience coordinating maintenance activities with skilled trades personnel.
- Experience with predictive maintenance programs.
- Experience with maintenance shutdown planning.
- Experience procuring maintenance parts, materials, and services.
Job Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
- Prioritize maintenance work requests based on safety, production requirements, business impact, and resource availability.
- Develop detailed maintenance work plans including labor, parts, tools, materials, permits, and job instructions.
- Coordinate maintenance activities for production equipment, facility assets, and supporting infrastructure.
- Support equipment reliability, uptime, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Identify suppliers and obtain quotations for maintenance-related materials and services.
- Create purchase orders for repair parts, spare parts, materials, and maintenance services.
- Monitor maintenance inventory and spare-part stock levels.
- Track parts usage and support maintenance inventory cost-reduction initiatives.
- Develop, review, and update preventive maintenance programs.
- Maintain equipment records, maintenance documentation, and planning data within the maintenance management system.
- Coordinate maintenance activities with operations, engineering, suppliers, and skilled trades personnel.
- Ensure planned maintenance activities comply with applicable safety, environmental, OSHA, and ANSI requirements.
- Support maintenance projects and scheduled equipment or facility shutdowns.
Pay Details: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
