Supply Management Specialist responsible for supplier coordination, shortage management, supply chain planning, data analysis, and corrective action support within a manufacturing environment.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field
  • Recent graduates may be considered
  • SAP experience required
  • Experience or academic background in supply chain, purchasing, supplier management, or manufacturing operations
  • Experience analyzing supply chain, supplier, or operational data
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications, databases, and departmental systems
  • Experience supporting supplier performance, material availability, or production requirements

Preferred Skills

  • Experience supporting metal fabrication or manufacturing supply chains
  • Experience managing critical part shortages and delinquent supplier requirements
  • Experience supporting production line-down risk mitigation
  • Experience with supplier corrective actions
  • Experience with continuous improvement initiatives
  • Experience coordinating product or process testing and inspections
  • Experience with purchasing desk or material planning activities
  • Experience interpreting supply chain procedures, policies, and regulatory requirements

Job Responsibilities

  • Execute supply chain planning activities for assigned manufacturing commodities or supplier groups
  • Manage critical part shortages and delinquent supplier requirements
  • Identify and mitigate material availability and production line-down risks
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned purchasing and supplier activities
  • Perform supplier management activities supporting purchasing and manufacturing operations
  • Analyze supplier, inventory, shortage, and operational data using established tools and methods
  • Interpret data and identify actions required to resolve supply chain issues
  • Coordinate product and process testing and inspection activities
  • Implement and monitor supplier corrective actions
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to supply chain and supplier performance
  • Review existing supply chain processes and identify opportunities for process improvement
  • Resolve supplier and internal customer inquiries related to policies, procedures, requirements, and material status
  • Maintain Microsoft Office documents, databases, reports, and departmental systems
  • Support compliance with established supply chain policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements
  • Coordinate supply chain activities with purchasing, manufacturing, suppliers, and other functional groups


Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
