Video Editor

Create and edit professional video content across social, promotional, editorial, and commercial formats while supporting studio and field production activities.

Job Requirements

• 5–7 years of professional video editing experience.
• Four-year degree in video production, editing, motion graphics, videography, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Expert-level experience with Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Experience with Adobe After Effects.
• Experience with Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator.
• Experience managing professional post-production workflows and media files.
• Knowledge of professional video file formats, codecs, transcoding, and export requirements.
• Experience editing and preparing deliverables for multiple video formats and distribution channels.
• Experience with professional cinema camera systems from manufacturers such as Sony, Canon, Panasonic, or RED.
• Working knowledge of video lighting, audio, grip, and production equipment.
• Experience performing basic audio editing and sound cleanup.
• Proficiency with macOS.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to lift and carry production equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work outdoors and navigate uneven terrain while carrying equipment.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.

• Motion graphics experience.
• 2D or 3D animation experience.
• Experience supporting professional studio productions.
• Experience shooting or editing content involving heavy equipment.

• Experience working on outdoor jobsites and field productions.
• Experience producing content for large corporations or established brands.
• Experience editing content involving senior leadership or executive communications.
• Experience cataloging, organizing, and maintaining video asset libraries.

Job Responsibilities

• Edit professional video content for social, promotional, editorial, and commercial applications.
• Develop video assets that promote equipment, customer stories, and brand-related content.
• Perform approximately 70% of assigned work in video editing and post-production.
• Manage footage, project files, media assets, and post-production workflows.
• Perform video transcoding, format conversion, compression, and final export.
• Edit audio and perform basic sound cleanup for completed video productions.
• Create motion graphics, visual effects, and supporting graphic elements as required.
• Prepare video content in formats appropriate for social, digital, internal, and commercial distribution.
• Curate, edit, catalog, and maintain footage within internal stock video libraries.
• Assist with approximately 20% of assigned work on studio and field video shoots.
• Operate video, grip, lighting, and production equipment during shoots as required.
• Support studio operations and equipment activities for approximately 10% of assigned work.
• Participate in field productions at outdoor jobsites and other production locations.
• Coordinate video edits and revisions with production teams, internal stakeholders, and external production partners.
• Maintain organized project files, footage, archived media, and final deliverables.

Pay Details: $22.00 to $28.00 per hour
