Material Coordinator
Coordinate material availability, inventory accuracy, and production support activities to ensure parts and components are available for manufacturing schedules.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Management, Business Management, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline, or 2–3 years of equivalent related work experience.
- Experience in supply management, manufacturing, material coordination, or related operations.
- Experience analyzing material, inventory, or production data.
- Experience resolving material shortages and inventory discrepancies.
- Knowledge of production material planning and inventory processes.
Preferred Skills
- 2+ years of experience in supply management or manufacturing.
- Experience with material flow processes.
- Proficiency with SAP.
- Experience with data analytics.
- Experience supporting engineering release and change management processes.
- Experience with shortage reporting and material expediting.
Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate procurement, expediting, production, and delivery of materials required for manufacturing.
- Monitor material availability and identify shortages that could impact production.
- Support production personnel with locating and resolving material shortages.
- Review critical shortage reports and expedite parts to maintain production schedules.
- Audit materials and inventory records for accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Coordinate material requirements with production and supply management functions.
- Implement material changes resulting from engineering releases and change management processes.
- Process material deviations and inventory adjustments.
- Analyze material availability data and identify gaps affecting production.
- Support material flow activities to maintain uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
