Computer Support Associate/Infrastructure Engineer
Provides onsite deskside IT support for hardware, software, printers, assets, networking, and audiovisual equipment within an office environment.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of computing and networking fundamentals.
- Experience providing deskside or end-user IT support.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with intranet and internet functions.
- Understanding of computer security policies and concepts.
- Experience troubleshooting standard hardware, software, and peripheral issues.
- Ability to follow knowledge base articles and established technical procedures.
- Ability to maintain IT asset, inventory, service, and maintenance records.
Preferred Skills
- 1+ years of IT experience.
- Experience providing Tier 2 deskside support.
- Experience with ServiceNow or comparable IT ticketing systems.
- Experience with Asset Center or comparable asset management systems.
- Audiovisual equipment support experience.
- Experience implementing or supporting conference room AV devices such as Neat.
- Recent graduates with applicable IT education or technical experience may be considered.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide onsite Tier 2 deskside IT support for daily operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, printer, and peripheral issues.
- Image and deploy computers for end users.
- Replace printer toner, rollers, and other basic printer components.
- Resolve and update ServiceNow trouble tickets.
- Maintain and update IT asset information within Asset Center.
- Dispose of outdated IT assets according to established procedures.
- Follow knowledge base articles and site-specific procedures for troubleshooting.
- Maintain contact lists, process logs, issue reports, inventory records, and maintenance documentation.
- Escalate technical issues that fall outside documented support procedures.
- Monitor equipment status and schedule routine maintenance.
- Order IT supplies and maintain related inventory records.
- Coordinate with suppliers for equipment and service requirements.
- Assist with installation and implementation of audiovisual and conference room devices.
- Support compliance with established computer security policies and procedures.
Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
