Computer Support Associate/Infrastructure Engineer
Provides daily operational IT support for desktop hardware, software, printers, conference rooms, assets, and end-user computing environments.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of relevant IT experience.
- Experience providing desktop hardware and software support.
- Experience supporting printers and related peripherals.
- Experience troubleshooting break/fix hardware and software issues.
- Experience working with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow.
- Experience following knowledge base articles and established troubleshooting procedures.
- Experience maintaining IT asset and service records.
- Ability to support computer imaging and end-user device deployments.
- Ability to provide basic smart-hands support for server and network teams.
Preferred Skills
- Previous experience in an office-based IT support environment.
- Experience with Asset Center or comparable asset management systems.
- Experience supporting conference room technology.
- Experience with IT asset lifecycle management.
- Experience with inventory tracking, equipment maintenance scheduling, and vendor coordination.
- Recent graduates with applicable IT experience may be considered.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide daily operational support for desktop computing environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software break/fix issues.
- Support desktop computers, printers, and related peripherals.
- Provide smart-hands support for server and network teams.
- Support conference room technology and equipment.
- Image and deploy computers for end users.
- Manage IT asset lifecycle activities, including deployment and disposal of outdated equipment.
- Replace printer toner and perform basic printer maintenance.
- Resolve and update trouble tickets through ServiceNow.
- Maintain asset records within Asset Center or comparable systems.
- Document process logs, problem reports, customer updates, shipping orders, inventory, and maintenance records.
- Escalate technical issues that fall outside established support procedures.
- Schedule routine equipment maintenance and order required supplies.
- Monitor IT inventory and coordinate with vendors and suppliers.
- Troubleshoot desktop and peripheral issues using established knowledge base documentation.
Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
