Job Requirements

  • Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Diesel Power Technology, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Technology Management, or a related discipline
  • Relevant technical training and work experience may be considered in place of a degree
  • Experience diagnosing diesel engines, electrical systems, and aftertreatment systems
  • Electrical troubleshooting and diagnostic experience
  • Knowledge of battery-electric vehicle systems
  • Experience using proprietary diagnostic tools and software applications
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams
  • Ability to travel 10–20% throughout the United States and Canada

Preferred Skills

  • Experience troubleshooting new or pre-production equipment
  • Experience analyzing diagnostic data from multiple systems and sources
  • Experience developing technical bulletins, repair procedures, or service documentation
  • Knowledge of production-intent and experimental machine components
  • Experience supporting field service teams, dealerships, or channel partners

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex product and equipment problems
  • Use advanced diagnostic systems, technical documentation, and published service information
  • Analyze data from multiple sources to identify failure causes and corrective actions
  • Coordinate technical investigations across engineering, manufacturing, service, and product support teams
  • Develop and author technical bulletins for recurring or complex product issues
  • Document diagnostic findings, repair procedures, and validated technical solutions
  • Gather and identify components required for production-intent updates
  • Travel to field locations to diagnose equipment and complete machine updates
  • Install or support experimental and production-intent components
  • Follow established problem-resolution processes for technical support activities
  • Provide technical guidance to field teams, channel partners, and support organizations
  • Support diagnostic capability development for service and product support personnel


Pay Details: $38.00 to $42.00 per hour
