Job Requirements

  • Supervisory experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial environment
  • Experience with quality inspection processes and manufacturing quality fundamentals
  • Experience leading quality inspectors or production quality personnel
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to work approximately 70% on the manufacturing floor and 30% in an office environment
  • Ability to work off-shifts, overtime, and weekends as required
  • Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of manufacturing supervisory experience preferred, or equivalent supervisory experience without a degree

Preferred Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or a related field
  • Experience managing tool calibration programs
  • Coordinate Measuring Machine lab experience
  • Experience managing nonconforming material processes
  • Experience with inspection documentation, quality records, and corrective actions
  • Experience supporting multiple production shifts
  • Experience with quality management systems and audit requirements

Job Responsibilities

  • Supervise and assign daily work to quality inspectors
  • Lead quality management service activities, including tool calibration, CMM lab operations, and nonconforming material processes
  • Provide quality support directly on the manufacturing floor
  • Monitor inspection workloads, priorities, and staffing requirements
  • Review inspection results and quality documentation for accuracy and completeness
  • Coordinate containment and disposition activities for nonconforming materials
  • Maintain calibration schedules, records, and equipment status
  • Support CMM inspection activities and lab priorities
  • Investigate quality issues and escalate manufacturing concerns
  • Track quality metrics, inspection results, and open quality actions
  • Prepare reports and maintain quality records using Excel and other computer systems
  • Coordinate quality coverage for off-shifts, overtime, and weekend production
  • Enforce applicable inspection procedures, quality standards, and manufacturing requirements


Pay Details: $28.00 to $33.00 per hour
