Production Scheduler (3rd Shift)

Provides production scheduling support for laser cutting, forming, and related fabrication operations.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, supply chain, operations, business, or a related field with 1+ years of production scheduling experience, or a high school diploma or equivalent with 5+ years of production scheduling experience
• Experience scheduling work within a production or manufacturing environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions
• Ability to work on the manufacturing floor approximately 50% or more of the workday
• Ability to work in both manufacturing-floor and office environments

Preferred Skills

• SAP experience
• Laser cutting or forming operations experience
• Fabrication manufacturing experience
• Experience coordinating schedules with production supervisors, engineers, and other schedulers
• Experience tracking production capacity, material availability, and manufacturing priorities
• Experience updating production schedules within an ERP or manufacturing planning system

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules for laser cutting and forming operations
• Coordinate fabrication priorities with supervisors, engineers, and production schedulers
• Monitor production progress, capacity, material availability, and schedule requirements
• Adjust schedules based on production delays, equipment availability, material constraints, and changing priorities
• Enter and maintain scheduling information in SAP or other production planning systems
• Use Excel to analyze schedules, production data, capacity, and workload
• Review manufacturing-floor conditions to verify production status and scheduling requirements
• Communicate schedule changes and production priorities to fabrication personnel
• Track work orders through laser cutting, forming, and related fabrication processes
• Identify scheduling conflicts, production bottlenecks, and missed completion dates
• Prepare production status reports and scheduling documentation

Pay Details: $28.00 to $31.00 per hour
