Entry-level Sourcing Specialist position focused on supplier selection, order fulfillment, cost analysis, inventory planning, supplier performance, and sourcing process support.

Job Requirements

  • Experience supporting sourcing, procurement, supply chain, order fulfillment, or supplier management activities

  • Experience analyzing quotations and supporting supplier selection decisions

  • Experience with cost models, make-versus-buy studies, spend analysis, and supplier cost analysis

  • Experience resolving shipping, receiving, invoicing, and payment issues

  • Knowledge of supplier performance management processes

  • Experience working with quality, engineering, or other functional teams to resolve supplier issues

  • Experience using data analysis to support sourcing and supply chain decisions

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Enterprise Product Delivery Process or similar product delivery processes

  • Experience with Enterprise Order Fulfillment Process or similar order fulfillment processes

  • Experience supporting Engineering Change Management processes

  • Experience with inventory planning, asset management, and material flow goals

  • Experience validating suppliers during early supplier selection

  • Experience supporting commodity strategies and supplier contracts

  • Experience expediting parts as needed

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide entry-level sourcing and order fulfillment process support

  • Support development, execution, and enforcement of sourcing strategies and contracts for lower-value and less complex commodities

  • Assist with cost models, make-versus-buy studies, spend analysis, invoice issue resolution, and data analysis

  • Work with strategic sourcing teams to address chronic supplier performance issues

  • Support supplier validation during early supplier selection

  • Use supplier performance management processes to track and manage supplier performance

  • Execute order fulfillment activities, including cost reduction, quotation analysis, and supplier selection

  • Select suppliers based on quality, cost, process capability, lead time, and supplier stability

  • Participate in resourcing activities and make-versus-buy decisions

  • Collect cost data and prepare supplier cost and industry analyses

  • Support Engineering Change Management to implement design changes and product improvements

  • Develop and execute inventory plans to support inventory, asset management, and material flow goals

  • Resolve shipping, receiving, invoicing, and payment problems to support accurate supplier payments

  • Drive continuous improvement and lowest total cost within the supply base

  • Define and resolve supplier performance issues with quality, engineering, and other functional representatives

  • Manage day-to-day supplier communication and supplier relationships

  • Expedite parts as necessary

Pay: 25-30/hr

Pay Details: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
