Service Parts Forecasting Specialist responsible for forecasting new service parts, managing part availability, and supporting order fulfillment processes.

Job Requirements

  • Experience developing service part forecasts using historical data, engineering input, product support input, and product/component knowledge
  • Experience reviewing service part forecasts and recommending adjustments to forecast and ordering activity
  • Experience managing order fulfillment processes to support service part availability
  • Experience developing, recommending, and implementing strategies to meet master schedules
  • Experience analyzing metrics and data to improve business processes and service part support performance
  • Proficiency with SAP
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience in one or more operations support functions, including:
    • Purchasing
    • Warehousing
    • Logistics
    • Service parts management
    • Procurement

Preferred Skills

  • Supply base knowledge
  • Understanding of operations principles
  • Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic machine systems and components
  • Experience in a service support environment
  • Experience generating reports from databases and computer systems
  • Data analytics experience
  • Statistics experience

Job Responsibilities

  • Forecast new parts and manage part availability
  • Develop global service part forecasts for newly adopted service parts
  • Use historical data, engineering input, product support input, and product/component knowledge to build forecasts
  • Participate in and facilitate scheduled meetings with product support, supply management, engineering, and marketing representatives
  • Define service part requirements with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Review service part forecasts and recommend adjustments
  • Recommend ordering activity changes based on forecast reviews
  • Execute business activities in alignment with established processes, policies, and objectives
  • Manage the order fulfillment process to ensure service part availability
  • Develop strategies to meet the master schedule
  • Recommend and implement service part availability strategies
  • Analyze metrics and data to improve business processes
  • Improve service part support performance through data review and process improvement


Pay Details: $20.00 to $26.00 per hour
