Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
  • 3+ years of vehicle electrical system design, integration, or testing experience
  • Experience developing, designing, or testing electrical components
  • Experience with wiring harnesses and schematics
  • Understanding of software and hardware interaction
  • Experience owning and managing project deliverables
  • Knowledge of general product development processes
  • Ability to support off-shift production builds as needed
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 10%

Preferred Skills

  • Agriculture vehicle development experience
  • Off-highway vehicle development experience
  • Experience creating and maintaining bills of material for vehicle systems or test equipment systems
  • Product development software experience
  • Experience writing test scripts for embedded product validation and verification
  • SIL or HiL test stand experience
  • Experience developing wiring harnesses and electrical systems using 3D CAD tools
  • Project management experience
  • Experience training team members or peers
  • Experience leading design or test work performed by remote teams
  • Advanced training in additional engineering disciplines
  • Systems engineering experience

Responsibilities

  • Develop vehicle electrical systems for riding lawn mowers and compact utility tractors
  • Work with supply management, quality, product validation and verification, program management, and cross-functional teams throughout product development
  • Own and develop electrical system requirements for hardware and software
  • Develop and release electrical systems that include vehicle harnesses
  • Create and organize bills of material for vehicle electrical systems
  • Work with outside suppliers on component feasibility, development, and integration
  • Provide build support at various stages of the product development cycle
  • Support electrical component, wiring harness, schematic, software, and hardware integration activities
  • Manage assigned project deliverables through product development milestones


Pay Details: $45.00 to $50.00 per hour
