Supply Management Planner
Supply management role focused on supplier delivery performance, material expediting, logistics issue resolution, data analysis, and production plan support.
Requirements
- Degree in Business, Management, Engineering, Technology, Supply Management, or equivalent work experience
- Understanding of the order fulfillment process
- Knowledge of manufacturing unit processes and operations
- Experience gathering and analyzing data
- Experience using Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Ability to relocate domestically
- Experience managing supplier delivery schedules
- Experience supporting material delivery for production plans
- Experience resolving shipping and receiving issues
Preferred Skills
- Previous supply management experience in a manufacturing environment
- Previous planning experience in a manufacturing environment
- Cross-functional experience with material flow, logistics, operations, or supplier development
- SAP landscape knowledge
- Tableau experience
- Power BI experience
- SharePoint experience
- Experience with supplier performance measurement
- Experience defining supplier corrective actions
- Experience supporting supplier delinquency recovery plans
Responsibilities
- Communicate with suppliers daily regarding delivery schedules
- Manage factory hot part requests
- Manage aged ASNs
- Manage goods receipt compliance issues
- Support supplier delinquency recovery plans
- Work with supply management specialists to maintain assigned supplier relationships
- Monitor supplier performance
- Measure supplier performance and define corrective actions
- Negotiate with suppliers to resolve short-term performance issues
- Drive continuous improvement across the supply base using supplier performance criteria
- Resolve shipping and receiving problems to support prompt and accurate supplier payments
- Gather and analyze data to track business objectives
- Schedule and expedite purchased materials to support production plans
- Recommend premium logistics alternatives when appropriate
- Serve as a logistics resource for factory logistics teams, unit operations, and suppliers
- Resolve questions, concerns, and issues related to logistical processes
Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
