Supply Planner responsible for supplier delivery planning, direct material expediting, past due order resolution, supplier performance tracking, and production material availability.

Requirements

  • Degree in Business, Management, Engineering, Technology, Supply Management, or related discipline
  • Equivalent work experience accepted
  • Experience communicating with suppliers regarding delivery plans
  • Experience expediting direct materials
  • Experience reviewing delinquent supplier orders
  • Experience creating supplier delivery plans
  • Experience analyzing and resolving past due orders
  • Experience communicating supply issues to internal stakeholders
  • Experience resolving shipping and receiving issues
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Experience analyzing information from multiple sources
  • Experience supporting production material availability

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with suppliers regarding delivery plans
  • Expedite direct materials to prevent production disruption
  • Run supplier meetings to review delinquent orders
  • Create acceptable delivery plans with suppliers
  • Work with Supply Management personnel to maintain supplier relationships
  • Monitor supplier performance
  • Measure supplier performance
  • Define corrective actions to improve supplier performance
  • Analyze past due orders
  • Resolve past due orders
  • Communicate supply issues to appropriate stakeholders
  • Resolve shipping issues
  • Resolve receiving issues
  • Support timely supplier payments by resolving shipment and receipt discrepancies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve supply issues
  • Support process improvement activities
  • Ensure assigned parts have delivery plans in place
  • Support production needs through material planning and supplier follow-up


Pay Details: $19.00 to $23.00 per hour
