IT Support Technician responsible for onsite deskside support, computer imaging, printer support, asset tracking, trouble ticket resolution, and IT process documentation.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Degree in Information Technology preferred
  • Equivalent IT experience accepted
  • Knowledge of computing concepts
  • Knowledge of networking concepts and fundamentals
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Proficiency with intranet functions
  • Proficiency with internet functions
  • Understanding of computer security policies
  • Understanding of computer security concepts
  • Experience troubleshooting computers, printers, and peripherals
  • Experience resolving end user support tickets
  • Experience following knowledge base articles for issue resolution
  • Experience maintaining IT records, logs, incident reports, inventory, or service records

  • Provide onsite deskside support for computers, printers, peripherals, and end user tickets
  • Image computers
  • Replace printer toner

  • Update asset information in Asset Center
  • Follow knowledge base articles for technical resolutions
  • Follow unit-specific IT processes
  • Maintain contact lists
  • Maintain logs
  • Maintain incident reports
  • Maintain inventory records
  • Maintain maintenance and service records
  • Recognize process and operation problems
  • Resolve process and operation problems according to established solutions
  • Report process and operation problems according to established procedures
  • Maintain equipment, supplies, and process-support data
  • Monitor equipment, supplies, and process-support data
  • Schedule equipment maintenance
  • Order supplies
  • Update IT support records
  • Interact with suppliers for equipment, supplies, or process support
  • Apply technical troubleshooting knowledge to end user support issues


Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
