Program Security Officer
Personnel security role focused on SAP and SCI security support, clearance verification, PERSEC records, indoctrinations, debriefs, and compliance with DoD security requirements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of relevant DoD work experience
- 2+ years of experience in a SAP or SCI environment
- Active Top Secret clearance
- Experience supporting personnel security activities
- Experience with Special Access Program security requirements
- Experience with Sensitive Compartmented Information security requirements
- Experience with collateral security requirements
- Knowledge of applicable DoD, USAF, and USSF regulations, policies, and procedures
- Experience using DISS
- Experience using JADE
- Experience using personnel security databases and systems of record
- Experience maintaining personnel security records
- Experience performing SAP Personnel Security Official duties
Preferred Skills
- Experience providing day-to-day PERSEC support for SAP activities
- Experience administering SETA for Civil Service, military, and contractor personnel
- Experience preparing Program Indoctrination Agreements
- Experience generating debrief documentation
- Experience updating briefing and debriefing records in JADE
- Experience assisting users with DOD and SAP security systems
- Experience requesting annual PSQ updates
Job Responsibilities
- Provide personnel security support for customer facility and organizational requirements
- Support day-to-day PERSEC services for Special Access Program activities
- Conduct clearance and access level verifications using DISS, JADE, and other applicable databases
- Administer security education, training, and awareness activities
- Follow applicable DoD, USAF, and USSF regulations, policies, and procedures for SAP, SCI, and collateral security
- Use DOD and SAP systems of record to manage personnel security actions
- Assist users with security system functions
- Perform assigned Special Access Program Personnel Security Official duties
- Maintain personnel security records in accordance with applicable requirements
- Ensure personnel security records remain current
- Request annual PSQ updates for personnel supporting special access programs
- Prepare Program Indoctrination Agreements
- Generate debrief Program Indoctrination Agreements
- Execute debriefs on behalf of the government security team
- Update personnel briefing and debriefing records in JADE
Pay Details: $90,000.00 to $100,000.00 per year
