Communications Specialist responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, publishing, and delivery of internal communications and digital content.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience

  • Experience supporting communications projects, workflows, or coordination activities

  • Experience managing timelines, tasks, and deliverables

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including SharePoint

  • Experience supporting administrative, coordination, and content-related tasks

  • Experience maintaining files, archives, communications assets, or digital content libraries

  • Experience with proofreading, formatting, fact-checking, and approval routing

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with digital content publishing

  • Experience with CMS, intranet, or website management

  • Familiarity with project management tools

  • Familiarity with editorial workflow tools

  • Experience with proofreading, basic writing, or content editing

  • Exposure to digital storytelling, internal communications, or marketing communications

  • Experience supporting or coordinating communications campaigns or projects

  • Familiarity with basic design templates or creative asset coordination

  • Experience testing new features, tools, or communication channel capabilities

Job Responsibilities

  • Support coordination and execution of communications projects and deliverables

  • Assist with publishing and distributing content across intranet, email, SharePoint, and related channels

  • Manage workflows, timelines, and tasks within project management tools

  • Perform quality assurance checks, including proofreading, formatting, fact-checking, and approval routing

  • Maintain and update intranet content

  • Support digital platform upkeep

  • Provide process and best practice guidance to communicators and stakeholders

  • Assist with content development, including writing, editing, and templated design support

  • Organize and maintain communications assets, files, and archives

  • Support reporting, editorial planning, and meeting preparation

  • Participate in testing new features, tools, and channel capabilities

  • Support governance adherence and consistency across communications platforms

Pay: 20-27/hr

Pay Details: $20.00 to $27.00 per hour
