Entry-level electrical engineering role focused on vehicle electrical and electronic system design, prototype integration, diagnostics, and product support.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or Automotive Engineering
  • At least 1 year of experience, or equivalent internship, co-op, or academic project exposure, in electrical system design or embedded systems
  • Experience with design automation, CAD, Creo, CATIA, and software development tools
  • Experience designing electrical or embedded systems
  • Experience building and integrating prototype electrical systems
  • Experience performing diagnostics, software bring-up, and troubleshooting

Preferred Skills

  • Exposure to vehicle electrical systems including diesel engines, hydraulics, x-by-wire systems, and in-vehicle communication
  • Proficiency with electronic development and diagnostic tools including schematic capture, 3D CAD, and debugging tools
  • Knowledge of EMC design and application guidelines for vehicle electrical system compliance
  • Experience with 60V vehicle architectures
  • Experience with electrification components
  • Experience supporting new product development, sustaining engineering, production support, or field support activities

Job Responsibilities

  • Design and develop vehicle electrical and electronic systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, hardware, software, manufacturing, quality, customer support, and suppliers
  • Build and integrate prototype vehicle electrical systems
  • Perform diagnostics, software bring-up, and troubleshooting
  • Contribute to new product development activities
  • Support sustaining engineering efforts
  • Provide production support for vehicle electrical systems
  • Support field issues related to electrical and electronic system performance


Pay Details: $35.00 to $41.00 per hour
