MIG & Tig Welder

Performs MIG and TIG welding operations using bench welding equipment, seam welders, and automated welding systems to fabricate and assemble metal components according to manufacturing specifications and quality standards.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of MIG and TIG welding experience.

• Ability to successfully complete a hands-on welding skills test.

• Experience operating bench welding equipment.

• Knowledge of welding processes, equipment setup, and operating procedures.

• Ability to perform precision welding operations according to established specifications.

• Experience inspecting completed welds for quality and consistency.

Preferred Skills

• Experience operating D350 and D200 bench welding equipment.

• Experience with Bancroft 36-inch and 48-inch seam welders.

• Experience operating Weil Flexmaster 1200/450 welding equipment.

• Experience with automated or semi-automated welding machinery.

• Knowledge of welding parameters, including amperage, voltage, and travel speed.

• Experience troubleshooting welding equipment and process issues.

• Familiarity with weld inspection and manufacturing quality standards.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform MIG and TIG welding operations on metal components and assemblies.

• Set up and operate D350 and D200 bench welding equipment.

• Operate Bancroft 36-inch and 48-inch seam welding machines.

• Set up and operate Weil Flexmaster 1200/450 welding equipment.

• Adjust welding equipment settings according to material and production requirements.

• Position and secure components for welding operations.

• Monitor welding processes to maintain consistent weld quality.

• Inspect completed welds for defects and compliance with specifications.

• Identify and correct welding defects and equipment operating issues.

• Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance.

• Follow established welding procedures, manufacturing instructions, and safety requirements.

• Maintain welding equipment and organized work areas.

Pay Details: $30.00 to $32.00 per hour
