Cold Forming Operator

Cold Forming Machine Operator responsible for setting up, operating, and inspecting metal forming equipment and components in a manufacturing environment.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• At least 1 year of manufacturing experience.

• Experience operating or supporting metal forming, forging, or fabrication equipment.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders.

• Experience setting up dies, tooling, and materials for production runs.

• Experience using precision measuring tools to verify dimensional accuracy.

• Knowledge of manufacturing safety protocols and quality standards.

• Ability to perform physically demanding equipment setup and tooling change activities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cold forming equipment.

• Experience with furnaces used in metal processing.

• Experience in forging or metal fabrication.

• Experience troubleshooting forming equipment and tooling.

• Experience supporting process optimization activities.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor cold forming machines and furnaces.

• Set up dies, tools, and materials for production runs.

• Read and follow technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders.

• Inspect finished parts for dimensional accuracy and quality requirements.

• Use precision measuring tools to verify part specifications.

• Perform tooling and die changes as required.

• Support equipment maintenance activities.

• Troubleshoot manufacturing equipment and process issues.

• Support process improvements with engineering and quality teams.

• Maintain work areas and equipment in accordance with safety and manufacturing requirements.

Pay: 19-23/hr

Pay Details: $19.00 to $23.00 per hour
