Certified Welder II responsible for performing multi-process structural welding in all positions while supporting complex fabrication projects, weld quality, and welder training.

Job Requirements

  • AWS D1.1 Certified Welder
  • Completion of AISC Welding Training, WD-01 through WD-10
  • Demonstrated proficiency in multiple welding processes
  • Ability to pass internal weld qualification testing
  • Experience welding in all positions
  • Experience with AWS D1.1 standards
  • Experience with AWS D1.5 standards
  • Experience maintaining welding certifications and qualification records
  • Experience reading and interpreting complex fabrication drawings

  • MIG welding experience
  • FCAW welding experience
  • SMAW welding experience
  • GTAW welding experience
  • SAW welding experience

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform multi-process welding for structural fabrication projects
  • Perform MIG welding
  • Perform FCAW welding
  • Perform SMAW welding
  • Perform GTAW welding
  • Perform SAW welding
  • Weld in all positions according to AWS D1.1 and AWS D1.5 standards
  • Perform 1G, 2G, 3G, and 6G welding
  • Read and interpret complex fabrication drawings
  • Support complex fabrication projects
  • Assist with weld troubleshooting
  • Assist with weld defect reduction
  • Perform carbon arc gouging
  • Train Production Welders
  • Mentor Production Welders
  • Maintain welding certifications
  • Maintain weld qualification records
  • Support quality inspections
  • Support corrective actions


Pay Details: $27.00 to $29.00 per hour
