Fabricator II responsible for performing advanced structural fabrication, layout, fit-up, welding, cutting, and equipment operation.

Job Requirements

  • Proven fabrication experience
  • Advanced blueprint interpretation experience
  • Experience reading and interpreting complex fabrication drawings
  • Experience performing layout and fit-up activities
  • Experience verifying dimensions and tolerances
  • Experience operating fabrication equipment independently
  • Ability to complete in-house AISC Layout & Fit-Up Training, LF-01 through LF-19
  • Experience working with AWS D1.1 and AWS D1.5 standards

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced layout activities
  • Perform advanced fit-up activities
  • Perform MIG welding
  • Perform FCAW welding
  • Perform SMAW welding
  • Perform GTAW welding
  • Perform SAW welding
  • Weld in all positions according to AWS D1.1 and AWS D1.5 standards
  • Perform 1G, 2G, 3G, and 6G welding
  • Perform advanced torch cutting operations
  • Perform plasma cutting operations
  • Read and interpret complex fabrication drawings
  • Independently operate hand saws
  • Independently operate mag drills
  • Independently operate fabrication equipment
  • Verify dimensions and tolerances
  • Assist with training junior fabricators


Pay Details: $26.00 to $28.00 per hour
