Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering
- 7+ years of experience in a chemical manufacturing environment
- Experience supporting chemical plant operations
- Experience with chemical engineering principles
- Experience with unit operations
- Experience with process troubleshooting
- Experience monitoring production data
- Experience improving throughput, efficiency, and reliability
- Experience maintaining process documentation
- Experience with OSHA requirements
- Experience with PSM requirements
- Experience with RMP requirements
- Experience with internal safety management programs
- Experience participating in PHA reviews
- Experience supporting incident investigations
- Experience with root cause analysis
- Experience supporting multiple small projects

Responsibilities
- Serve as primary on-site process engineering resource for assigned chemical manufacturing units
- Monitor production data for process performance trends
- Troubleshoot process issues
- Recommend solutions to improve throughput, efficiency, and reliability
- Maintain critical process documentation
- Update operating standards
- Support new product introduction initiatives
- Support technology improvement initiatives
- Support debottlenecking projects
- Support energy optimization projects
- Provide technical support during turnarounds
- Provide technical support during abnormal events
- Provide technical support during emergency operating scenarios
- Lead Stage-Gate projects as assigned
- Support Stage-Gate projects as assigned
- Lead structured problem-solving activities
- Support root cause analysis for process and production issues
- Provide subject matter expertise to engineers and operations personnel
- Manage multiple small process improvement projects
- Support ongoing plant improvement activities
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, PSM, RMP, and internal safety programs
- Participate in PHA reviews
- Lead PHA reviews as assigned
- Provide technical input for incident investigations
- Communicate project priorities and progress to management
- Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, HSE, and Project Engineering teams
Pay Details: $50.00 to $65.00 per hour
