Senior Quality Engineer responsible for developing and maintaining manufacturing quality systems, supplier quality controls, inspection methods, corrective actions, audits, and regulatory compliance for highly regulated products.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.

  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing, engineering, or technical role.

  • Ability to interpret technical data.

  • Knowledge of measurement systems.

  • Knowledge of statistical analysis.

  • Experience with root cause analysis.

  • Experience supporting manufacturing processes from order entry through final acceptance.

  • Experience with inspection, testing, quality data analysis, and corrective action activities.

  • Experience supporting supplier quality and nonconforming material processes.

Preferred Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.

  • Experience in aerospace, medical device, or another highly regulated industry.

  • Experience with pressure sensor manufacturing.

  • Experience with FAA, DCMA, or other governmental quality requirements.

  • Experience with Material Review Board processes.

  • Experience with supplier corrective actions and purchase order quality review.

  • Experience with internal, product, supplier, and customer audits.

  • Experience supporting FAA-certified repair station activities.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality standards and systems for manufacturing operations.

  • Develop inspection, testing, and evaluation methods and procedures.

  • Support quality activities across bid review, order entry, supplier oversight, production planning, procurement, manufacturing, testing, final acceptance, software analysis, corrective action, and customer support.

  • Interface with suppliers and customers to investigate and resolve product quality issues.

  • Develop procedures and forms for recording, tracking, and evaluating quality data.

  • Develop methods for dispositioning discrepant and nonconforming material.

  • Assess quality-related costs associated with discrepant material.

  • Provide technical quality support to manufacturing, suppliers, and customers.

  • Support measurement, testing, and recording of product quality and reliability data.

  • Develop quality training materials and conduct technical training sessions.

  • Perform supplier quality activities, including purchase order review, supplier nonconformance resolution, and corrective action review.

  • Perform Material Review Board activities, including scrap material processing.

  • Support customer and governmental agency quality activities, including FAA and DCMA requirements.

  • Participate in internal audits, product audits, customer reviews, and external quality assessments.

  • Respond to customer quality information requests.

  • Support quality activities associated with repair station operations.



Pay Details: $33.00 to $45.00 per hour
