Sr Electrical Design Technician

Electrical Engineer responsible for electrical schematic design, component-level product development, testing, and troubleshooting of medical device systems.

Job Requirements

• Experience with electrical schematic design.

• Experience using Altium Designer, OrCAD, or similar electrical design software.

• Experience with electrical component-level product development.

• Experience developing or supporting electronic hardware.

• Experience testing and troubleshooting electrical circuits and assemblies.

• Experience interpreting electrical schematics, component specifications, and technical documentation.

• Experience with electrical test equipment and diagnostic tools.

• Experience supporting product development from design through verification and testing.

Preferred Skills

• Experience developing electrical systems or components for medical devices.

• Experience working in a regulated medical device development environment.

• Experience with PCB schematic capture and board-level electronics.

• Experience selecting and evaluating electrical components.

• Experience with prototype build, bring-up, and debugging.

• Experience performing root-cause analysis on electrical hardware failures.

• Knowledge of design verification and validation processes.

• Knowledge of medical device design controls and electrical safety requirements.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop electrical schematics using Altium, OrCAD, or equivalent design tools.

• Design and develop electrical components and electronic subsystems.

• Support electrical product development activities for medical device applications.

• Select and evaluate electrical components based on system requirements.

• Review schematics, component specifications, and hardware designs.

• Build, test, and evaluate prototype electrical assemblies.

• Perform electrical testing and troubleshooting at the circuit, board, and system levels.

• Diagnose electrical hardware failures and identify root causes.

• Develop and execute electrical test procedures.

• Document test results, design changes, and troubleshooting findings.

• Support design verification and validation activities.

• Provide electrical engineering support throughout product development and manufacturing introduction.

Pay: 33-45/hr

Pay Details: $33.00 to $45.00 per hour
