Sr Packaging Engineer

Packaging Engineer responsible for packaging design and development, new product development support, and design control activities for medical device products.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.

• 4+ years of experience in packaging, new product development, and product design.

• 1+ year of medical device industry experience.

• Experience with packaging design and development.

• Experience supporting new product development programs.

• Knowledge of medical device design controls.

• Experience creating and maintaining packaging design documentation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience developing packaging for regulated medical device products.

• Experience supporting packaging verification and validation activities.

• Experience with design history file documentation.

• Experience with packaging specifications, drawings, and change control.

• Experience supporting cross-functional NPD activities in a regulated environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop packaging designs for new and existing medical device products.

• Support packaging activities throughout the new product development lifecycle.

• Create and revise packaging specifications and design documentation.

• Apply design control requirements to packaging development activities.

• Support packaging design reviews.

• Participate in packaging verification and validation activities.

• Maintain packaging documentation within applicable quality systems.

• Support design changes and packaging updates through controlled change processes.

• Provide packaging engineering support for new product introductions.\

Pay: 55-65/hr

Pay Details: $55.00 to $65.00 per hour
