Electrical Engineer
Design and support electrical power distribution, grounding, lighting, controls, and protection systems for industrial and commercial projects.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
4–8+ years of related electrical engineering experience.
Knowledge of NFPA 70, NFPA 70E, NFPA 110, and NFPA 780.
Experience with 0–4160V electrical applications.
Experience with 120V–480V single-phase and three-phase power systems.
Experience with backup power infrastructure.
Experience performing load calculations and circuit sizing.
Experience performing conductor sizing calculations.
Experience with protective device coordination studies.
Experience performing Arc Flash calculations.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Experience with AutoCAD MEP, AutoCAD Electrical, Plant 3D, Revit, or similar design software.
Experience using ETAP and/or SKM.
Preferred Skills
Professional Engineer license.
Pump control integration experience.
Lighting control experience.
Experience with industrial electrical system design.
Experience developing electrical design standards and engineering guidelines.
Experience reviewing electrical equipment submittals and technical data.
Job Responsibilities
Develop electrical designs, reports, specifications, and construction documents.
Perform load, circuit, conductor sizing, and protective device coordination calculations.
Perform Arc Flash studies and calculations.
Develop power distribution plans and single-line diagrams.
Create grounding plans, panel schedules, cable schedules, and cable tray layouts.
Develop lighting plans and control system documentation.
Create control narratives, control schematics, and interconnection diagrams.
Develop electrical equipment data sheets and bills of materials.
Review and approve equipment submittals.
Support technical project scope, schedule, and budget requirements.
Review electrical design work prepared by other engineering and design personnel.
Develop and maintain electrical engineering standards and guidelines.
Apply current electrical codes, industry standards, and design requirements to assigned projects.
Pay: 40-60/hr

Pay Details: $40.00 to $60.00 per hour
