PCB Designer
Design and develop electronic hardware from concept through production, including schematics, PCB layouts, prototypes, testing, and manufacturing documentation.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical experience.
- Experience using Altium Designer.
- Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout.
- Experience supporting PCB manufacturing and production release.
- Experience designing multi-layer printed circuit boards.
- Knowledge of IPC standards.
Preferred Skills
- Analog circuit design.
- Digital circuit design.
- Mixed-signal circuit design.
- Power electronics design.
- Controlled impedance routing.
- Electronic component selection.
- Schematic symbol and PCB footprint development.
- Component library management.
- Experience generating Gerber and ODB++ manufacturing files.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop electrical schematics and multi-layer PCB layouts using Altium Designer.
- Design analog, digital, mixed-signal, and power electronic circuit boards.
- Select electronic components based on electrical and design requirements.
- Create and maintain schematic symbols, footprints, and component libraries.
- Generate fabrication packages, assembly drawings, bills of materials, Gerber files, ODB++ files, and engineering documentation.
- Support prototype builds and bench testing.
- Support design reviews and production releases.
- Implement engineering changes and design revisions.
- Prepare PCB designs for manufacturing and assembly.
Pay Details: $49.00 to $66.00 per hour
