Software Engineer responsible for developing Generative AI, machine learning, and full-stack software solutions supporting next-generation safety-critical avionics technologies.

Job Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship required.
  • Professional software development experience.
  • Proficiency with Unix/Linux environments.
  • Proficiency with Python.
  • Full-stack development experience.
  • Experience developing complex software systems.
  • Understanding of artificial intelligence and machine learning fundamentals through research or practical application.
  • Experience deploying Generative AI-powered applications.
  • Experience with Large Language Model development frameworks such as LangChain or Haystack.
  • Professional or personal project experience involving Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or Generative AI.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience developing AI or machine learning solutions for aerospace, avionics, or safety-critical systems.
  • Experience designing and evaluating Generative AI experiments.
  • Experience with LLM application architectures and development frameworks.
  • Experience integrating Generative AI capabilities into production software systems.
  • Experience supporting multiple technical development projects.
  • Experience providing technical guidance or mentoring within software engineering teams.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design and develop Generative AI capabilities for safety-critical software development.
  • Develop and execute experiments involving Generative AI and machine learning technologies.
  • Evaluate experimental results and determine approaches for advancing AI-enabled development capabilities.
  • Develop full-stack software solutions supporting AI and machine learning applications.
  • Build and deploy applications using Large Language Models and related frameworks.
  • Develop software within Unix/Linux environments using Python and applicable supporting technologies.
  • Support research and development of next-generation avionics technologies.
  • Evaluate AI/ML technologies for potential application within aerospace and avionics systems.
  • Provide technical guidance and engineering support across multiple development efforts.
  • Document experimental methods, software designs, results, and technical findings.


Pay Details: $49.00 to $65.00 per hour
