Scrum Master / Agile Program Coordinator responsible for supporting SAFe release train activities, coordinating engineering development work, and maintaining Agile execution across cross-functional and global teams.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, preferably Software Engineering

  • Experience working in engineering, research, and development environments

  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies

  • Experience serving as a Scrum Master

  • Experience supporting Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) release train activities

  • Experience facilitating Agile and SAFe ceremonies

  • Experience with Jira or a comparable Agile lifecycle management tool

  • Experience developing and maintaining project timelines, milestones, and release plans

  • Experience managing dependencies, risks, and impediments across development teams

  • Experience supporting backlog quality and feature readiness

  • Experience working within established SOPs and formal development processes

  • Experience coordinating Design History File (DHF) documentation

  • Experience supporting cross-functional hardware, software, test, and program management teams

Preferred Skills

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification or equivalent

  • SAFe certification

  • Experience working in the medical device industry

  • Experience working in another regulated industry

  • Experience supporting geographically distributed engineering teams

  • Experience using delivery metrics to evaluate Agile execution and process improvement

  • Experience with regulated product development documentation

Job Responsibilities

  • Serve as Scrum Master for engineering and development teams

  • Support SAFe release train planning and execution activities

  • Facilitate Agile and SAFe ceremonies, including planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives

  • Coordinate development activities across hardware, software, test, and program management functions

  • Support global coordination across engineering teams and development sites

  • Facilitate and coordinate Design History File documentation

  • Develop and maintain program timelines, milestones, and release plans

  • Identify and track upstream and downstream dependencies

  • Track program risks, impediments, and delivery constraints

  • Coordinate resolution of dependencies and development blockers

  • Work with product owners and development teams to maintain backlog quality

  • Support feature planning and readiness for Agile execution

  • Use Agile metrics and delivery data to identify process improvement opportunities

  • Support implementation of improvements within established development processes

  • Maintain Jira records, user stories, backlog items, and delivery tracking

  • Support alignment between engineering execution and program management requirements

  • Apply Agile and SAFe practices consistently across development teams

Pay: 55-65/hr

Pay Details: $55.00 to $65.00 per hour
