Performs advanced reliability, availability, maintainability, and safety analyses for complex hardware and software systems supporting regulated and defense-related engineering programs.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience, graduate degree with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or a minimum of 13 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.

  • U.S. citizenship required.

  • Ability to pass a background check.

  • Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.

  • Experience performing Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety (RAMS) analyses for hardware and software systems.

  • Experience with Reliability and Maintainability Predictions.

  • Experience with Reliability Modeling.

  • Experience performing Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA).

  • Experience performing Fault Tree Analysis (FTA).

  • Experience performing safety analyses.

  • Knowledge of applicable military, government, and commercial reliability and safety standards.

  • Experience developing technical analysis documentation and presenting results for engineering reviews.

Preferred Skills

  • Bachelor’s or graduate degree in Electrical Engineering.

  • Experience with Human Factors Engineering.

  • Experience with Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action Systems (FRACAS).

  • Experience with Logistics Analysis, including GEIA-STD-0007.

  • Defense industry experience.

  • Knowledge of MIL-HDBK-217F.

  • Knowledge of Telcordia SR-332.

  • Knowledge of 217Plus.

  • Knowledge of MIL-HDBK-470.

  • Knowledge of MIL-STD-882.

  • Knowledge of NFPA 70.

  • Knowledge of NAS 411.

  • Proficiency with Teamcenter.

  • Proficiency with SAP.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SharePoint.

  • Experience with Relyence.

  • Experience with Cameo.

  • Experience with Ansys Sherlock.

  • Knowledge of probability and statistics.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive RAMS analyses for hardware and software systems.

  • Develop Reliability and Maintainability Predictions.

  • Develop and maintain reliability models.

  • Perform FMECA and Fault Tree Analyses.

  • Conduct system and product safety analyses.

  • Evaluate hardware and software designs for reliability, maintainability, and safety risks.

  • Apply applicable military, government, and commercial standards to RAMS activities.

  • Develop technical reports, analyses, models, and supporting documentation.

  • Present RAMS analysis results during internal and customer technical reviews.

  • Support multiple concurrent engineering programs with RAMS analysis and documentation.

  • Perform FRACAS-related analysis and support corrective action activities.

  • Support logistics and supportability analyses where applicable.

  • Provide technical guidance on RAMS methodologies, tools, and standards.

  • Review RAMS analyses and technical documentation for accuracy and compliance.

  • Use engineering tools and enterprise systems to maintain analysis data and technical records.

Pay: 56-75/hr

Pay Details: $56.00 to $75.00 per hour
