Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical discipline with 6+ years of relevant experience, Master’s degree with 4+ years of relevant experience, or a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience and education in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.

  • U.S. citizenship required.

  • Active DoD Top Secret clearance or ability to maintain an active Top Secret clearance.

  • Ability to pass a background check.

  • Experience installing, configuring, and customizing BMC Remedy and Helix platforms.

  • Experience with BMC ITSM and CMDB environments.

  • Experience supporting BMC platforms within containerized infrastructure.

  • Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP networking.

  • Experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and related network technologies.

  • Experience designing, integrating, configuring, and troubleshooting secure network systems.

  • Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.

  • Experience with VMware or comparable hypervisor technologies.

  • Experience with containerized environments.

  • Knowledge of cybersecurity requirements for sensitive or classified communications systems.

  • Understanding of Agile development processes and supporting tools.

Preferred Skills

  • DoD 8570 cybersecurity certification such as Security+, CISSP, or equivalent.

  • Networking certification such as CCNA or equivalent.

  • Experience with network design, architecture, specifications, and equipment selection.

  • Experience with IPv4 and IPv6 network design.

  • Experience with IP subnetting.

  • Knowledge of BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP routing protocols.

  • Experience configuring and troubleshooting Cisco IOS and IOS-XE devices.

  • Knowledge of GRE, IPsec, DMVPN, GETVPN, QoS, VLANs, and multicast.

  • Knowledge of IP access control lists, stateful protocol inspection, and next-generation firewalls.

  • Experience with SNMP, SSH, Syslog, RADIUS, and TACACS.

  • Experience with Splunk, Firepower Management Center, or Cisco ISE.

  • Knowledge of Risk Management Framework requirements, security controls, and STIGs.

  • Experience with VMware, Rancher, Kubernetes, and container configuration.

  • Experience with HAIPE, TACLANE, COMSEC, or CRYPTO equipment and procedures.

  • Experience with tactical or military radio networks, including Common Data Link and ANW2.

  • Experience with military SATCOM equipment and services.

  • Experience with Cisco Unified Communications, VoIP, or VTC systems.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and Visio.

Job Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, customize, and maintain BMC Remedy and Helix platforms, including ITSM and CMDB components.

  • Support BMC applications operating within containerized infrastructure.

  • Design and integrate secure military communications networks across multiple network domains.

  • Develop network architectures, schematics, hardware selections, and software configurations.

  • Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.

  • Design and support IPv4 and IPv6 networks.

  • Configure routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.

  • Implement network technologies including GRE, IPsec, DMVPN, GETVPN, VLANs, multicast, and QoS.

  • Configure network security controls including access lists, stateful inspection, and next-generation firewall features.

  • Support network management and authentication technologies including SNMP, SSH, Syslog, RADIUS, and TACACS.

  • Configure and troubleshoot Windows, Linux, VMware, Kubernetes, Rancher, and container-based environments.

  • Implement cybersecurity requirements for sensitive and classified communications systems.

  • Support Risk Management Framework, STIG, and security control compliance activities.

  • Integrate military communications equipment including HAIPE, TACLANE, tactical radio, SATCOM, and related COMSEC systems.

  • Support Cisco Unified Communications, VoIP, and VTC infrastructure.

  • Diagnose and resolve network, server, virtualization, and container infrastructure issues.

  • Develop and maintain technical network diagrams and system documentation.

  • Support engineering activities within established technical, schedule, and budget requirements.

Pay: 47-63/hr
