Controls Engineer GCCS

Develop, modify, and support Rockwell-based industrial control systems using General Motors GCCS and/or FACS controls standards.

Job Requirements

• Strong experience with Rockwell automation and controls systems

• Experience programming and troubleshooting Rockwell PLCs

• Experience with General Motors GCCS controls standards and/or FACS controls standards

• Experience developing and modifying industrial automation control logic

• Experience troubleshooting automated manufacturing equipment

• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and controls documentation

• Experience supporting controls integration, startup, and production equipment

Preferred Skills

• Experience with both GM GCCS and FACS controls standards

• Experience with Rockwell Studio 5000

• General Motors manufacturing controls experience

• Automotive manufacturing or assembly automation experience

• Experience with HMI development and integration

• Experience commissioning PLC-controlled equipment

• Experience supporting high-volume automated production systems

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and modify Rockwell PLC programs

• Apply GM GCCS and/or FACS standards to controls designs

• Troubleshoot PLC logic and automated equipment issues

• Support controls system integration and machine commissioning

• Review and modify control logic based on production requirements

• Diagnose PLC, I/O, communication, and machine-control faults

• Support equipment startup and production launch activities

• Maintain controls documentation and program revisions

• Support manufacturing teams with automation and controls-related issues

• Verify controls systems comply with applicable automotive manufacturing standards

Pay: 32-43/hr

Pay Details: $32.00 to $43.00 per hour
