Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering

  • Minimum of three years of product development, testing, or manufacturing experience in a regulated industry

  • Experience with analog circuit design

  • Experience with digital circuit design

  • Medical device industry experience

  • Experience with design controls

  • Experience with engineering risk management

  • Experience supporting verification and validation activities

  • Experience designing embedded electronic hardware

  • Experience developing low-power electronic systems

  • Experience with battery-powered electronic products

  • Knowledge of regulated product development processes

Preferred Skills

  • Experience designing implantable medical device technologies

  • Experience with mixed-signal circuit design

  • Experience with embedded system architecture

  • Experience with power management and battery management circuitry

  • Experience supporting medical device design verification testing

  • Experience with hardware qualification and manufacturing transfer

  • Experience maintaining engineering documentation within a quality system

  • Experience with failure analysis and electronic troubleshooting

Job Responsibilities

  • Design analog and digital electronic circuits

  • Develop embedded hardware for regulated medical device products

  • Design low-power and battery-powered electronic systems

  • Support development of implantable medical device technologies

  • Create and maintain electrical schematics and hardware design documentation

  • Perform circuit analysis, testing, and troubleshooting

  • Support hardware prototype development and design iteration

  • Develop and execute verification and validation activities

  • Apply design control requirements throughout product development

  • Participate in engineering risk management activities

  • Support design reviews and hardware documentation

  • Investigate hardware failures and implement design corrections

  • Support manufacturing transfer and production-related engineering activities

  • Maintain technical documentation required for regulated product development

Pay: 60-69/hr

Pay Details: $60.00 to $69.00 per hour
