Systems Engineer (Cockpit Specialist)

Develop and support regulated medical device systems with a focus on engineering requirements, traceability, and product development activities.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical field

• Minimum of five years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree

• Minimum of three years of relevant experience with a master’s degree

• Experience within the medical device industry

• Experience with requirements tracing

• Experience developing and maintaining engineering requirements

• Knowledge of regulated product development processes

Preferred Skills

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical field

• Experience with requirements management tools

• Experience supporting medical device verification and validation activities

• Experience maintaining traceability between requirements, design outputs, and test results

• Experience supporting design controls and regulated engineering documentation

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain electrical or software engineering requirements

• Establish and maintain requirements traceability throughout the product development lifecycle

• Link system and product requirements to design outputs, implementation, and verification activities

• Support medical device product development activities

• Maintain engineering documentation associated with requirements and traceability

• Support verification and validation planning and execution

• Review requirements for completeness and testability

• Update traceability documentation as designs and requirements change

• Support engineering design reviews and regulated product development documentation

Pay: 50-62/hr

Pay Details: $50.00 to $62.00 per hour
