Job Requirements

  • 2–5 years of electrical installation, maintenance, or repair experience
  • Experience troubleshooting electrical circuits and equipment
  • Ability to bend and install electrical conduit
  • Ability to determine proper wire and circuit-breaker sizing
  • Experience tracing electrical circuits
  • Ability to wire, install, and hang transformers
  • Experience installing bus plugs
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Knowledge of electrical sensors, motors, transformers, breakers, and related components
  • Ability to perform aerial work using ladders, lifts, or elevated work platforms
  • Experience using electrical test equipment, hand tools, and power tools
  • Ability to perform onsite work
  • Ability to move and install facility and production equipment

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working in an industrial or manufacturing facility
  • Experience installing data lines and compressed-air lines
  • General construction and facility repair experience
  • Experience mounting monitors, televisions, and facility hardware
  • Experience supporting production equipment installation and relocation
  • Knowledge of applicable electrical codes and facility safety requirements

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist with electrical installations, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs
  • Complete assigned electrical tasks independently when appropriate
  • Install conduit, wiring, breakers, transformers, bus plugs, and electrical components
  • Determine appropriate wire and breaker sizes for electrical circuits
  • Trace circuits and diagnose electrical faults
  • Read and apply electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Troubleshoot sensors, motors, circuits, and related electrical equipment
  • Perform aerial electrical installation and repair work
  • Install, relocate, and connect facility and production equipment
  • Install data lines and compressed-air lines
  • Mount monitors, televisions, and related equipment
  • Perform general construction, equipment repair, and facility maintenance tasks
  • Support preventive maintenance activities for building systems and equipment
  • Document completed repairs, installations, and maintenance activities
  • Follow applicable electrical, safety, and facility procedures


Pay Details: $30.00 to $34.00 per hour
